The Yungas Road is a cycle route about 60 km long which links the city of La Paz and the Yungas region of Bolivia. The road starts at an altitude of 3,660 meters in La Paz before traversing through the Cordillera Oriental mountain chain.[1] At the La Cumbre Pass, the Yungas Road climbs to 4,650 meters and then makes a steep descent into Coroico.[1] This descent lasts over 3,650 meters and exists as one of the longest stretches of continuous downhill road in the world.[1] The road draws about 25,000 tourists per year[2] and is a major La Paz tourist attraction.[3] Many tour operators cater to downhill mountain biking, providing information, guides, transport and equipment. The tourist route is a 64-km-long road with 3500 metres of descent.[4] A new alternative route was built during a 20-year period ending in 2006. The modernization included enlarging the carriageway from one to two lanes; asphalt paving; bridges, drainage, guardrails, and the building of a new section between Chusquipata and Yolosa, bypassing the most dangerous sections of the original road.

The Yungas Road is infamously dubbed 'Death Road', due to its steep descent, 3 meter width, lack of guardrails, and consistent history with landslides and heavy rainfall.[5] It is estimated that 200 to 300 people are killed each year on this road.[1] At least 18 cyclists have died on the road since 1998.[2] Unlike the rest of the country, traffic flow is left-handed, allowing the driver to assess the distance of their outer wheel from the edge of the road.[6] One of the worst accidents in Bolivian memory, and the one that cemented Yungas Road as the most dangerous road in Bolivia, occurred on 24 July 1983. On that day, the road claimed over 100 lives when an overcrowded bus slid from the mountain and met a terrifying end.[7]

Death Road to Canada is a Randomly Generated Road Trip Action-RPG. You manage a group of jerks as they explore cities, find weird people, and face up to 500 zombies at once. Everything’s randomized: locations, events, survivor personalities and skills. There’s a different story every time you play.
Travel the Death Road from Florida to Canada, the last nation on Earth. Find special events, rare encounters, and unique recruits. Recruit a grunting super-bodybuilder who’s strong enough to pick up and throw the car. Try to teach a dog how to walk upright and shoot a minigun.
Most of all, get eaten by enormous hordes of slow, classic-style zombies.
